Dr. Arun Mohanty

Dr. Arun Mohanty Sir is a synonym of selflessness, extreme generosity, "Patient first rest everything can wait"-Walk the talk persona, for whom NOTHING EXISTS except for immediately attending to the medical needs of a patient. He goes to any length to take immediate and extremely good care of anyone who meets him (even for the very first time).

I feel honoured and extremely happy to share my personal experience wherein I happened to meet him for our daughter whom we had brought to him when it was almost his calling off the day on Jan. 14'2022. We had almost fled her after getting discharged from a hospital of lunatics for whom Nothing existed above money(Hospital name is unimportant to us thus doesn't want to even make a mention of it!!).

My brother-in-law had informed the Doctor Sir about her medical condition the previous day and basis that, he educated him of the correct treatment and also assured him of every help to get our daughter back to regular life. So, the entire family stood together to get our daughter discharged from the other hospital and finally was able to get to the Ambulance that landed us to the hospital of this God-send, Saviour Doctor at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. We were immediately attended to as if he was only waiting for us. We had brought our daughter in a very critical condition wherein her nails of the hand had turned blue in color and she was diagnosed by the previous hospital as suffering from Tuberculosis in brain and thus was even done Lumber Puncture mindlessly(completely incorrect diagnosis) without even understanding or thinking about the extreme pain that she had to undergo during and post this surgery.

Dr. Mohanty Sir and his team of experts(who are very aptly termed as THE BEST IaN ASIA) got into action immediately. While we had lost complete hope, Dr. Mohanty Sir and his team got our daughter to a stable condition where they were not only able to get her nails back to pink color(in less than an hour) but also were able to diagnose her medical condition correctly.

Once she was discharged from the hospital, Dr. Mohanty Sir scheduled our visits at his clinic-THE HEART CLINIC at DDA, Pocket 7,FLAT NO. 9, RIHAYASHI APARTMENTS, Sector 12,Dwarka, New Delhi-110075 to keep a regular check on the progress of our daughter's health. Our experience at his clinic has also been extraordinarily pleasant ALWAYS. While it's always advisable to book an appointment prior to visiting the clinic, but if by chance, it got slipped out of your mind, then also you just don't need to worry. He and his staff is so highly accommodating that come whatever may, nobody is left unattended, irrespective of whether you have taken an appointment or otherwise.

The staff at the clinic are extremely pleasant to talk to and the clinic houses not only the regular BP/Random sugar and other tests, you can also get under-mentioned services done there itself besides getting all blood related tests (by getting them scheduled by the SARAL Diagnostics executive there itself) and can also get all the prescribed medicines from the In-house Chemist.

Dr. Arun Mohanty Sir is an ace Cardiologist in Dwarka, Delhi and has an experience of 28+ years in this field. He practices at “The Heart Clinic” in Dwarka, Delhi and at “Sir Ganga Ram Hospital” in Old Rajendra Nagar.

In Oct, '23 - I had visited Dr Mohanty without an appointment. Did so, because my mother was writhing in pain - the hospital beds were full (Venkateshwar, Manipal) and the emergency at Ayushhman had failed us thoroughly.

Dr Mohanty saw her, he touched her - a quickly vanishing aspect in the medical field, and although he's a cardiologist, he diagnosed her strangulated hernia in the lower abdomen and saved my mother's life. I reiterate, he went beyond his domain and saved a life. I remember, when my mum was operated upon the very next day at Sir Gangaram Hospital (SGRH, New Delhi) - the surgeon, Dr Ushast Dhir, had mentioned that my mother might live because a doctor went above and beyond. I couldn't agree more.

Furthermore, he's a much decorated medico - a Fellow at several national + international societies of Cardiology. Moreover, what I find interesting is the detail to which he will explain the problem and his proposed solution. In a world where most doctors write the prescription and are done with it, his approach is descriptive and enabling.

I trust him.

My father visited after travelling for 4.5 hrs for Heart related ailments. The doctors was in a hurry, could hardly give 3 mins of his time.

He had no time to listen to the patient, was just trying to get rid quickly, did not even tell about diet or any precaution.

While i will never make the mistake of visiting Dr. Mohanty again, I would request the doctor to treat patients with empathy, LISTEN to their concerns.

It's mentioned that the consultancy fee is 500/- however at the time of actual visit it was learned that the fee is 1000/-.Upon telling him that the fee mentioned in Practo is 500 it was informed to me that the data is old and not to be considered. Very disappointed with wrong information provided.

Dr Mohanty had infused in us a new life, a new hope. Till we met him life had become dull, despair and future bleak.My wife was on a very high dose of insulin and with it all heart problems. We consulted a number of Doctors and they were unanimous on one point that insulin is there to stay. We were told that this is the maximum dose and if still glucose level is not controlable it is a cause of worry. The family seemed to have lost the happiness. What should be done was always a big question before all of us. Fortunately one day we went to see a relative who had been operated for cardic ailment by Dr Arun Mohanty. He was all in praise of Dr Mohanty and advised us to consult him. As we were despair I just picked up the phone and rang Dr Mohanty and told him the state we were passing through. Dr Arun Mohanty was kind enough to give an immediate appointment. The first thing he told us don't worry with in a short span you will not be dependent on insulin. The medicines, test and diet was strictly followed and within a month insulin was stopped, the sugar level came under control, heart ailments under control. It is almost two years we are regularly consulting Dr. Arun Mohanty and thank him for the happiness he has brought back to the family.
