Dr. Alok Chopra

Dr. Alok Chopra is a renowned Cardiologist in Delhi with extensive experience of 40 years. He completed his MBBS and post-graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians, London. After completing his residency at GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi, he served there as a lecturer for the Department of Cardiology at Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, London. Dr. Chopra specialises in diseases of the heart and circulatory system. He along with Dr. Ashwani Chopta founded Aashlok Hospital in 1981 from where he started his private practice. Under the guidance of Dr. Alok and Dr. Ashwani, Aashlok Hospital became the first modern multi-disciplinary hospital in Delhi. After seeing life and death at close quarters during his practice as an Intensivist, he became a believer as well as a practitioner of complementary therapies and traditional medicine. He also laid the foundation to a Wellness Program integrating therapies of energy, healing, acupressure, acupuncture, counselling, psychotherapy, nutrition management and yoga at Aashlok Hospital.Dr. Alok also actively organises workshops focusing on cognitive theories and energy healing chambers like CII, PHD CCI, FICCI. Dr. Alok is also on the panel of major embassies such as the Embassy of the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Poland, Bhutan, Turkey and AfricaMany of Dr. Alok’s articles have also been featured in the top magazines namely Life Positive, India Today, First City, and Parenting. He is also a member of several prestigious societies in India and Abroad.Recently, Dr. Alok formulated a unique software that combines the principles of body-mind healing and ecologically conscious living, backwards to incorporate ancient Yogic healing practices and forward to the new exciting field of psychoneuroimmunology, energy healing to futuristic medicine, incorporating the principles of a Longevity, Functional /Regenerative therapy and Genomics.
