Visited For Eye Surgery
LISTEN CAREFULLY. I DID NOT USE DOCTOR FOR ANY SURGERY. I did not even get the chance to use this doctor for any surgery because I was not treated fairly before I could even get into the building.
LISTEN CAREFULLY. I DID NOT USE DOCTOR FOR ANY SURGERY. I did not even get the chance to use this doctor for any surgery because I was not treated fairly before I could even get into the building.
My experience and story:
I called into the doctors office, and was speaking to the lady who works their. I had the practo.com website opened up, so I knew a little bit about the office before I asked the questions, but I just wanted to see how honest she was going to be with me. I asked the women who answered the phone if I could get a female doctor to do the surgery. "Yes sir" was her reply. (she said this just so I would come into the the office knowing that once I am their it wouldn't matter, and so I wouldn't hang up right then and there) I said in response: "hmm thats funny I only see one doctor and thats a male, I only want female doctors to work on my eyes." She said why then I answered her, but that was strike 1. She lied to me just so I would come to the office. RED FLAG. If she said no, she knows I would hang up, and just call somewhere else. Since living in Delhi, I have learned to ask for charges before hand when dealing with doctors offices here in Delhi, so I asked her how much was the consultation. She could hear that I was a foreigner, so she more than doubled the charges. On practo.com it says 700 inr for consultation, and she told me 1500 inr for consultation. We started negotiating and I am like "you are willing to risk over 150,000 rupees because you want to be unfair and over charge me, and make an extra 800 rupees." As a doctor if my staff lost me over 150,000 rupees, because that is the amount for the surgery I wanted, I would be pissed. I was going to get multiple surgeries done as well so it could of been more like 300,000 rupees. If I was the doctor I would Fire Her, for losing me all that money. I would Fire Her, for being Deceptive towards a prospective Customer. I would Fire Her for exhibiting Bad customer Service. The doctors office was right down the street from my house, so if I liked the doctor I was probably going to use him just because of simplicity. Also, the doctor has good qualification, so I definitely was going to use him as my doctor if we clicked. Next, she wouldn't simply answer my question, all she would do is try to get me to come into the store. I tried telling her that I just got out of a surgery, and that I was in a lot of pain, and to have more compassion, and empathy towards my situation. that it was hard for me to get out of bed. But she just couldn't muster any empathy, and just was insinuating I come into the store. After she lied to me, tried to cheat me, and wouldn't provide good customer service, what motivation do I have to use this service? Sorry doctor, but your staff makes it so I can not use your service. Good luck in your practice I hope you the best.

FOREIGNERS BEWARE THE OFFICE STAFF WILL TRY TO OVER CHARGE YOU. BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT PRICES IF YOU USE THIS DOCTOR OFFICE.
