Dr. Akanksha Sharma

Dr. Akanksha is a highly experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant, Currently working as Senior Consultant IVF, Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Max Hospital, New Delhi and also based at Apollo Clinic in East of Kailash, New Delhi with over a decade of experience. She obtained her MBBS from Govt. Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, and completed her postgraduate training at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi. Dr. Akanksha completed her three-year senior residency at LNJP Hospital, associated with Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Dr. Akanksha completed her Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Max Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Akanksha has worked as a Consultant at Rainbow Madhukar Children's Hospital and Elantis Hospital, New Delhi, and also served as a research scientist at the Indian Council of Medical Research. Her expertise includes infertility treatment, and managing various obstetric and gynaecological conditions, such as ante-natal care for normal and high-risk pregnancies, deliveries (both normal and caesarean), post-natal care, menstrual disorders, laparoscopic procedures, colposcopy, uterine and ovarian tumours, birth control, and adolescent health issues like PCOS.
