I went to ILBS as my mom was detected to have a tumour at the base of her tongue during this July. And the Doctor provided was Dr. Deepti Sharma, Radiation deptt.
The Doctor was thorough while explaining the issue at hand and the advised treatment. Since my mom has had the illness for a while now, we decided to go ahead with the given advice, straightaway.
The entire treatment, Radiation and Chemo went for close to a two-month period and all this while, we were ably supported by Dr. Deepti. Whenever I had some questions/doubts, she helped me with the solutions.

I think more than just skills, it is willingness to listen patiently and being available as per patient's need that really makes a doctor different from others. Dr Deepti is a great example of these two traits. She has been kind of an anchor for my father's ongoing liver cancer treatment at ILBS, Vasant Kunj. We can't thank her enough for explaining us things, suggesting treatments, delivering best possible treatment etc. Long live her tribe!
