I express my sincerest appreciation for Dr. B.S. Solanki for his bedside manner towards patient ( Smt Kamla Mittal , Age 74 years , senior citizen, very low vision and osteoporosis diagnosed with CKD stage 5 ). My mother is under medical treatment from Dr Solanki. I have found Dr Solanki to be polite, courteous , a rarity in medical health community. He gives attention and tracks patient health by updating health records in his Health Information system desktop application. He instills confidence and hope in patients at CKD Stage 5 and "not routinely' advises Dialysis when medications can help and work. Dr Solanki unlike others is reachable on his cell phone on all weekdays , never insists on any lab tests or injectibles or medicines to be purchased from only a particular vendor. I have taken consultations from Nephrologists in Govt and Corporate Hopsitals but have found Dr. Solanki to stand out as the best amongst all for his 'Humane and Respectful attitude towards patient' which is almost non existant these days amongst medical community. Dr Solanki has the best educational credentials but still he is very humble. Dr Solanki allows 2 way communication in patient consultations, ensures privacy of patient and is sensitive to senior citizen and displays empathy and concern in his diagnosis and prognosis for patient. I am 85 years old and having been diagnosed as suffering from CKD, feel anxious and under a fear that my life will be that of great suffering and pain. After meeting Dr Solanki, I felt greatly relieved and assured that I can cope up with my ailment.
Secondly, my medication and earlier prescription made me take so many pills that I felt sick of medicines. Dr Solanki reduced my intake of pills which gave me a feeling that I am a healthier person.
