Ms. Archana Sharma

This is the very first review I am ever writing and the reason being I was absolutely compelled to spread the word about how black clouds of depression lifted and a bright light dazzled into my life from the time I made a decision to meet Dr. Archana Sharma. When a friend recommended Dr. Archana Sharma's name for psychotherapy, I thought to myself,' Who's going to go from South Delhi all the way to Janakpuri for sessions?', But then my hunch told me, 'Just give her a try....,' and I'm so so glad that I did. In the very first session she strikes a rapport with you as she takes history and gets to the root of the problem. I have been to a couple of therapists in South Delhi area but they have been eager to address the symptoms and did not get to the root of the problem. Hailing from IHBAS and having assisted very reputed psychiatrists in this field, Dr. Archana is very thorough and picks up on problem areas which are not apparent to the patient. In fact in two sessions itself she was able to turn my thinking around. At the same time I did not feel that she is pushing me too fast and moving at a pace that I can't cope with. She uses CBT and many other modalities very effectively to transform your approach and problem solves for you as light bulbs begin to go off in your brain. What I like most about her is that she can instinctively sense which modality / tool will work best for which problem. Ive done over 8 sessions with her and am feeling much more in control of my thinking, though I had started receiving amazing insights from my very first interaction with her. If you are thinking of buying a self help book or going for a motivational talk, wait...instead invest that money wisely and go to a good therapist. Dr. Archana Sharma is an experienced, seasoned therapist and definitely worth one's while as she makes an earnest attempt to understand and guide her patients, while being approachable and easily accessible at the same time. She not only pointed out to me how I was missing the wood for the trees but also gently walked me onto the road to sanity. Absolutely wonderful working with her.

It has been one great experience meeting Dr Archana as she has indeed helped me sail through the most difficult times of my life. However she is not the very first Doctor my parents had consulted for me. Even before I met her I had already been taking sessions from the other doctors. But certainly they just didn't match upto the level of understanding and ability which only Dr. Archana possessed in my case precisely! She handles her patients with such maturity and smartness that you get convinced you have come to the right place. She makes you feel so comfortable and easy that you tend to share all your problems with her without any hesitation which in turn helps you feel relaxed making your recovery process much easier. Quite professional and experienced she is undoubtedly, which is very much visible in her personality. I have been blessed that I found her on right time and able to avail her services. Meeting her has truly been a life changing experience for me. The way I earlier used to deal with my problems has certainly changed in a good way making me a better person. I'll always be thankful to Almighty that he made me meet Dr. Archana.

Archana is a very smart *** *********** ************* She has not only helped me overcome the stress, but also made me understand how to manage my stress in daily life, on my own. Unlike most doctors she's not money minded and rather works on her patient in the way its best for them. When i went to her i was very doubtful but from the very 1st interaction I got the confidence that she can help me to come out of my depression. She is extremely professional, mindful and cautious when she works with you. She got to the root of the problem and not just worked on the symptoms. I would highly recommend her to anyone who's in need of a clinical psychologist.

I had OCD , and social anxiety issues. It affected me in every aspects. I Was constantly mocked during

School, college time. I don't mind it now. But my studies got affected due to my overall anxiety issues. I don't trust people easily that's why I consulted doctors, but never continued my treatment after some time. And I let a pile of backlogs during college for myself. Dr. Archana

Just know how to deal with patients like me. She helped me understand my symptoms, and work accordingly. I wasn't really supportive initially, but after some time, I also tried my best to overcome OCD. Through her guidance I've learned to control my anxiety and did clear all backlogs, which was no less than a miracle. I'd been been advised many time to drop out from college. And I've seen people dropping out in my situation. I won't say I'm doing great, but I've come a far from where I started. I do have issues now, but I do have the confidence now to handle any situation.

So, I started my therapy when I was at my hardest phase.

I was depressed and isolated from my peer friends family and everyone.

My self confidence was lost, I was lost myself.

Then somehow I met her.

She didn't really treats her patient as patient but as a friend l, even a friend won't be so honest with you or give you advices to actually help you.

She helped through everything, at college, studies, my relationship, my family. If I was at. 0 she pushed to extent where now I at 60-70 of my mental health.

I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a therapist.

Anyways, thankyou so much for helping me through.

I visited her for one thing and she reached out for all the issues goin on in my life. she went to the root cause of my morale being down, and helped me understand things in a very modern n practical way. it absolutely fits my circumstances. I strongly recommend her for all the young adults having issues wid life.

I had severe anxiety issues before i visited Dr. Archana for Counselling.

But Just after 1st Therapy session with her, my Anxiety levels reduced.

After two sessions of therapy my anxiety and depression level was reduced almost to zero.

She is a very patient and a good listener.

She found the root cause of my problems and gave the right advice.

I suffered from depression for 3 long years but her therapy and guidance helped me recover from that.

She is so patient and attendive that I instantly gained a trust in her, she knows what she is doing *** ****** ***** ********* ********** she is genuinly concerned about her patients and the progress they make, she realises issues and realities that only the patient can see and sometimes even doctors fail to acknowledge, the friendliness, care,professionalism, punctuality and technique is all on point and made a huge difference in my life, she is one of the best things that ever happened to me, highly recommend her, she helped reduce my symptoms better than doctors did.

I was really stressed about my board exams. She helped me through out and guided me towards the right path. She was more like a friend to me.. she very smartly handled me and helped me to focus on my exams. Initially it was tough for me but when i saw the result it helped a lot in my improvement. She made me realise the worth of life. She is a wonderful therapist. During my sessions I didn't felt like that i was talking to a doctor it was more like having a conversation with a friend. She very smartly pointed out my mistakes and made me realise that i can overcome this entire phase. Through sheer determination which she kept alive in me and the believe that I CAN helped me to score great in my exams. I am really thankful to her ... i feel blessed for meeting her at the right time . Thank u doctor for believing in me ... even at the time when I completely lost my self confidence u were there so thank u !!! That means a lot❤️

Dr Archana makes you feel that she is on your side. Instead of changing everything that seems 'wrong' in you, she highlights what is natural about you, your personality - so you begin to embrace yourself. In a world where people jump to judgments and label you as weak, and in a world where people make you feel that everyone else is sorted and you're the only one who doesn't know how to function, she brings on a new light where you learn to accept yourself. Seeing her is one of the best decisions I've made in my late twenties.
