Dr. Abhinav Prashanth is an experienced Nephrologist and Interventional Nephrologist with expertise in advanced kidney care, dialysis access procedures, and critical care nephrology. He has a special interest in vascular access creation for dialysis patients and has independently performed a high volume of interventional nephrology procedures.He completed his MBBS from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, followed by MD in General Medicine and DrNB in Nephrology.Currently, he is serving as a Specialist in the Department of Nephrology at Janakpuri Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi.Dr. Prashanth is known for his expertise in managing chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, dialysis therapies, hypertension, and transplant nephrology. He has independently performed 1,500+ AV fistula surgeries, 500+ tunneled permcath insertions, and 600+ ultrasound-guided kidney biopsies, making him one of the few specialists with extensive experience in interventional nephrology.
