After decades of research, finally in 2004 Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) came with an answer to cure vitiligo and announced that the quest to cure vitiligo has finally ended with their research product for vitiligo.Based on Aimil's credentials, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, transferred technology for their research product to Aimil. After this transfer of technology, Aimil conducted rigorous studies to re-evaluate the efficacy and safety of the product for 6 years and finally in September 2011 introduced this research product in India as “LUKOSKIN”. With the help of strong field force of around 800 marketing officials, Aimil delicately leading the legacy of ayurveda to every nook and corner of the country especially in the field of leucoderma.Moreover, Aimil came forward with a vision to serve people affected by this difficult-to- treat disease in India and around the world. In addition to extensive marketing activities, Aimil has taken its own initiative by establishing Aimil Healthcare & Research Centre (AHRC) in its Delhi based premises with a highly dynamic team of ayurvedic physicians under the flagship of Dr. Nitika Kohli.Till date, AHRC has registered more than 20000 leucoderma patients with a huge success in eradicating leucoderma. AHRC's outreach is increasing day by day and AHRC is committed to alleviating human sufferings due to leucoderma.
