My father was suffering from knee issues since 15 years. He was unable to walk for more than 20 minutes and could not stand for more than 10 minutes continuously. We were a bit apprehensive going for a traditional knee replacement as it involved a really long recovery period. We came to know that Dr. Bakul Arora uses the minimal invasive surgery wherein he doesn’t cut the muscle so the recovery period is quick and the patient can even sit cross legged after few months of surgery unlike the traditional one. My father (aged 64) weighed around 100 kgs and his height is 6ft, so we were concerned that the minimal invasive surgery would not be an option for him. However, when we visited the doctor for consultation, he was extremely patient and confident in answering all our queries. He even mentioned that the height and weight would not be an issue. We scheduled the bilateral Gold knee replacement surgery for June 2021. The surgery started at 9 AM and was done by 12.30 PM. The doctor made him walk the same day and he was climbing stairs by the 3rd day. He was discharged after 3 days. We started seeing good recovery within 21 days of the surgery.

It’s been 3 months since the surgery and my dad no longer has the terrible knee pain. He walks freely now, sometimes even faster than us. He lost a lot of weight as he is able to exercise easily.

Dr. Arora was always available for us even after the surgery was complete. Its really rare to find doctors who take so much care of their patients, are so wonderful to talk to and above all great surgeons!

I had an issue with my knees, for which i was recommended to Dr Bakul Arora by a known person who also was a patient of Dr Bakul. He seemed to be a very kind and a humble doctor. Quite patiently he heard us and explained us the issue. It was so nice to see that the doc with so much knowledge about his subject being so kind. The best part about him is that he will let you know genuinely if the surgery is required or it can be cured through medication, as he said a surgery will be required for my right knee, and the left knee issue can be cured with the medication. The staff and the support staff are highly co operative and kind. They helped us and were also co operative for all the procedures to be done at the hospital end.

I had a ACL and MCL reconstruction surgery late November. Doctor Arora guided me every step of the way, right from initial diagnosis and explaining the issue to the eventual surgery and physiotherapy. 3 months down the line, my knee feels absolutely normal in everyday scenarios and I am about to start with physical activities like jogging and swimming. Doctor Arora make the entire journey very comfortable by explaining the injury and the recovery timelines right from the get go.

Cant recommend Doctor Arora enough to anyone with similar injuries.
