Yellow mucus/drip from throat after exam
Female 38 years old I went for an eye exam today and they did dilation with two drops. They said one is numbing solution and another one is dilation drops.  It's been 4 hours and I spit some mucus/saliva drip from the throat and it looks like color neon yellow. Not mucus think. Very liquid but color is neon yellow. I never seen this before and I have had eye exams before. Is this normal? I had that yellow color solution in my eye today for dilation. Is this drip from throat because of that? Color looks exactly like that neon yellow eye solution. No discharge from eyes. Only from throat.

It could be possible that your doctor used fluorescein dye (which is neon yellow in color)to check your eye pressure. Nothing to worry. Observe for a day.  Consult if it still persist.
