Yellow discharge in eye
My left eye has yellow discharge and my eyelids get stuck to each other when I sleep. The eyelid hurts a little. What would be the preferred treatment?

It is due to acute conjunctivitis. Please wash your eyes frequently with fresh water. Do cold compresses with ice. Maintain strict personal hygiene. Keep your towel .pillows. hankey. Pen.pencil separate. Always wash your hands whenever you touch your eyes. Don't rub your eyes And Put plain antibiotic drops (no steroids)frequently Antibiotic eye oint at bed time . Consult an ophthalmologist

May be due to infection. Pl have lubricant and antibiotics eye drops. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
