Asked for Male, 29 Years

My father (53/male)has found a wound on his right leg as attached in image. He do not recollect what is the cause of wound. From last 4days it is swelling and found some puss aswell. Consulted a local doctor and taking medication. But it is not improved. We just gave a fasting sugar test and the value came around 130. Gave test for hba1c aswell,waiting for report. Few months back we have blood sugar test it was normal 6months back. Can anyone tell me what is this wound called?

Leg ulcer. If A1c is close to normal it may be due to vascular impairment. There is leg swelling as well and I suspect it to be due to impaired blood flow ( venous ulcers). Management consists of antibiotics and also some debridement. Needs mapping of his blood flow.
