Wound on back after bed rest

Hi, My mother aged 48, had hysterectomy two months ago. She was taking bed rest and about two days back there was a wound formed on her back.There is no itching and little pain when dress touches the wound. Initially it was small but it grew after rubbing it.Please advice what to do.
