Worried about baby's health
My baby is 9month old..she is having loose motion..Doctor prescribed ofloxacin & metronidazole suspension..Z&D ds20 and entroflora 5ml suspension...should I give these medicines..? Are these medicines safe for my baby?

Cause of loose motion in paediatric age group is most commonly viral infection, if your baby is passing red colour or black colour stool with fever and abdominal pain, excessive cry this may indicate that your baby is having bacterial infection and you can use the antibiotic.
Zinc supplementation, entroflora and plenty of ORS is the mainstay of treatment.
