Since the last 5 days , without letting him know i have decreased the dosage of sertraline from 50 to 25 mg and clonezepam from 0.50 to 0.25 .Now he is facing body aches througout the day for 3 day. It can be due to withdrawal or other reasons as well, like calcium deficiency or electrolytes disturbances in blood. It can also be due to any substance use like alcohol or other drugs. Since you have already reduced the dose, continue 25mg sertraline for another 5 days. If the body aches are due to withdrawal then it will pass off in a weeks time. Please see a doctor for proper guidance. It’s unadvisable to reduce medications without supervision of a doctor.
