Hi, I have been taking this medicine since July 15. This month marks three months of this medicine. Today I had missed this medicine because I ran out of this. Will there be any withdrawal symptoms if I skip for a day ? I have been taking only once a day for anxiety issues. Googling about withdrawal symptoms is really scary.

Talk to experienced psychiatrist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Hi there, the medication you are on is a combination of -
1.Escitalopram at a dose of 5 mg which is an antidepressant
2 Clonazepam at a dose of 0.5 mg which is a benzodiazepine
Usually, skipping a dose of an antidepressant does not immediately cause any withdrawal symptoms. However, skipping a dose of benzodiazepine may cause some anxiety symptoms or sleep issues but not too serious.
Also, I suggest you to taper down the benzodiazepine i.e Clonazepam you are taking after consulting a psychiatrist to prevent benzodiazepine dependency in the future.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist for tapering down and stopping Clonazepam.
