Hi there, Sorry you are going through some difficult symptoms recently. If your doctor has thoroughly assessed you and concluded that you have anxiety, and, if you’re happy with the assessment, then anxiety medications may be a good option. Sometimes they have side effects like you’ve said and it generally tends to settle down in a few days. If the side effect a are intolerable or don’t get better, then it would be nice to see your doctor again for change of medication. There are a different medications with different and less side effect profiles.

General information and suggestions. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and advice tailored to your specific situation. Dizziness and head pressure can have various causes, and it's good that you've already undergone several tests to rule out any serious underlying conditions. However, it seems like your doctors is considering anxiety as a possible cause for your symptoms. Anxiety can manifest in physical symptoms such as dizziness and headaches. While medication can be helpful for some people, it's not the only approach to managing anxiety. Here are a few suggestions you may consider: Seek a second opinion: If you're not satisfied with your current doctor's approach, consider consulting another healthcare professional to get a fresh perspective on your symptoms. Therapy or counseling: Consider seeing a mental health professional who specializes in anxiety disorders. They can help you explore the underlying causes of your anxiety and provide techniques to manage and reduce your symptoms. Relaxation techniques: Engage in activities that promote relaxation and reduce stress, such as deep breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation, yoga, or progressive muscle relaxation. These techniques can help calm your mind and body. Exercise and physical activity: Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being. Find an exercise routine that suits your fitness level and preferences. Self-care and stress management: Take time for yourself and engage in activities you enjoy. Practice good sleep hygiene, maintain a healthy diet, and consider stress management techniques like journaling or engaging in hobbies. Support network: Reach out to friends, family, or support groups who can offer understanding, empathy, and companionship. Sometimes, talking about your concerns can provide relief.
