Wisdom Tooth pain and inflammation
From past couple of days I am having pain around my upper wisdom tooth.I am getting some relief with saltwater rinse but pain is not going away completely. Please advise if I need to visit a dentist or it can be treated with some OTC medications. Thanks!

I would suggest a visit to the dentist for a checkup to confirm the reason of pain associated to the wisdom tooth. Sometimes its the wisdom tooth but sometimes it could also be the tooth beside it. A checkup and an xray(If needed) would clear up things. If the pain is in the night then medicines will be effective only for 6-8 hours and the pain will come back. In that case extraction would be the way to go as a long term solution.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist for a checkup and diagnosis.

Hie .. I will advice to visit at once .. since it won’t come out if it’s impacted ..it usually erupts by 25 years of age.. keep doing warm saline rinses .. better to extract it out since wisdom tooth doesnt have use in chewing food
Next Steps
Get an X-ray done for the condition of your wisdom tooth
