Hi my 2.9 years daughter is having problem of cold and cough very frequently. And doctor prescibes antibiotics and serious. Please tell what are the short-term and long term side effects of steroid medicine and antibiotics?

Steroids oral may not be indicated unless severe breathing difficulty.Inhaled steroids may be used in severe breathing difficulty.
They are not to be used for common cough and cold.
