Will ipill still work
I had sex on 5th April, and ate ipill around 10pm that day. I had unprotected sex again on 7th April which is today, so will the ipill still work, Because it's been 40hrs almost?

The ipill contains a high dose of progesterone. This works as an emergency contraception post intercourse and can be taken up-to 72 hours post coitus with reducing efficacy, ie  lesser the time gap from intercourse better the efficacy. So you can't rely on the pill you had taken 40 hrs back to provide you cover. It would be a sensible option to go on some definitive contraceptive. You would need another course of ipill but bear in mind you periods will be irregular. Please don't use the ipill more often within a cycle.

Multiple episodes of sex decreases the effectiveness of i pill. Also failure ratea are close to 10 percent. Consult directly for further assistance as to whether u need to repeat a pill or not
