Will Dronis 20 protect against pregnancy
Hi doctor, I had PCOS diagnosed last year. Currently Taking Dronis 20 for PCOS. I am following a 21 day pill schedule of YAZ. After I had my normal period on 14th August, I started Dronis 20 on Day 3 of the cycle (16th August) and continued for 21 days till 5th of September. Once stopped I had my period started on 10th September, upon which from 12th September I started taking Dronis 20 again. On 18th September I had unprotected intercourse and my partner ejaculated inside. Now I am scared about possible pregnancy and thinking about taking an ECP. My questions are **Do I need to take an emergency contraceptive pill? Or my current schedule of Dronis 20 will prevent pregnency? And if indeed I need to take an ECP, do I continue taking Dronis 20 or should I stop and wait for the bleeding?*
