Why MRI perineum is advised ??
My mother is suffering from severe pain during stool passing... colonoscopy was done last year...Now she is suffering from pain during stools.. doc gave her antibiotics for 1 week and she recommended MRI of perineum.. Im not able to understand why this problem is going on... plz advice us to getrid of this problem.. Thanku

Pain in stools may be because of fissure piles or fistula etc. Other causes are also possible. Why is mri adviced. What is being suspected clinically ? There are very less indications for mri. What did colonoscopy say?
