Why lipid profile test is done
I am a 54 year old male and I was asked to get my lipid profile test done on my last visit to to hopsital. Why is the lipid profile test done? What does it indicate? Is it a good thing to get done as it sounds serious and I hope not to have any disease. Can someone tell me what it is?
