Why is gestational sac not visible
I am a 27 year old, pregnant for the first time with irregular periods. My last menstrual cycle was on March 27 and I assume that I ovulated at the end of April bcz when I tested my pregnancy on May 2nd it was negative and came out positive on May 9th with a beta HCG level 94.3 on the same day. After 12 days I took another beta HCG test and the count was 1485.2. On the same day I had my first scan but there was no gestational sac visible. I saw online that gestational sac will be visible only after 1500 hcg, why is it so? Is there something to worry about my hcg levels? as I'm not sure on which week I'm😔Can someone please clarify my concerns. It's eating my brain.

Beta hcg doubles evry 48-72 hours if it's a healthy pregnancy. And for the radiologist to see the gestational sac it requires a level of beta hcg 5000 if you are going for transabdominal ultrasound, and 1500 if you are going for transvaginal ultrasound. It's ok wait for 1 week and repeat the scan
