Why does child have poop in semi liquid

Asked for Female, 30 Years

My daughter is 15th months old & as per her routine she use to poop 2 times daily but from past 3-4 days her poop is in semi liquid state twice or thrice daily she use to poop. Is it diarrhea or some thing else & what would be the reason for the same. How can it be control any medicine to be provided for this.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. I'd baby has no fever, she is active, no vomiting, no blood in stools DO NOT WORRY. sometimes at this age kids have toddler diarrhea. Will subside on it's own. But do visit pediatrician to rule out any other underlying health issue.
