Why attack coming back

Asked for Female, 43 Years

My son treated with epilepsy since 2021.Earlier he takes Masorate Cr 300 twice a day,now he takes Masorate cr500 twice a day.My Dr tell me to increased his does.But he again got attack after taking proper medicine dose.My question is that why he had attack again?

Epilepsy treatment is a continuous process. Same patient may develop changes in seizure number and type over time . Also dosage depends on factors like weight of the patient. Some patients may require hiking of dosage or addition of second or even third medicine depending on seizure control. Ensure medicines are taken at right time , and also avoid seizure triggers like lack of sleep / stress etc . You have to do regular follow up Neurologist/ Epileptologist.
