White spots in abdoman

Asked for Male, 33 Years

Vitiligo spot found from his birth on upper part of waist and that spot is slowly increasing . I have read this is because dispigmentation of melanin.

Hi. Greetings. Yes this could be vitiligo. If it's a single patch on abdomen, prognosis and chances of repigmentation with treatment are good. Please visit a dermatologist at the earliest since you said it is increasing. This signifies active disease and must be controlled. Lot of creams and tablets options are available. Even photo therapy is very helpful. Do discuss with your doctor. Hope this helps.
