My son 8 years old is having dry skin the skin of his foot first became dry and he started getting small white patch around his ankle area. is it vitiligo or due to dry skin he is getting those white patches.please help

Better if u had uploaded the pic.There are many conditions in which white patches can be seen,vitiligo being one of them.consult any dermatologist and get appropriate treatment.childhood vitiligo has better cure rates if it is stable one.
