I have a white spot behind my tonsils for last seven days.no pain.no fever but still the white bump is persistent .taking nodimox but very slow or negligible improvement.tensed about hiv contraction.no lymph node swelling.is it thrush or candidiasis or just a simple strep .

You seem to be looking at whitish debris over one of the crypts of tonsils which is not really abnormal. If you don't have any symptoms such as throat pain and difficulty in swallowing then you need not worry about
