White deposit on Toe Nail

Asked for Male, 18 Years

The toe nail of my leg has some white (not fluid) substance deposited on it. I don't feel any pain there. Also, the nail continues to grow. It's been around a month and it doesn't bother me much but looks gross. I've stopped wearing slippers because of this. Is this something to worry about?
