Basic Skin Color of our body is mainly genetically determined and it remains same throughout. There may be changes in this basic color due to mainly sunlight exposure ( skin tanning) , some hormonal imbalance, metabolic issues, etc due to which skin may darken and loses its glow. Now coming to your question about fairness, let me tell you frankly that healthy skin doesn't mean fair skin ( basic color of skin is and will always remain same no matter what fairness treatments you do). Healthy skin si one which is properly hydrated ( no rough patches or dryness),  sunprotected and clean and clear skin. Healthy skin always looks much better and has  a natural glow ( and it is not dependent on skin color). Now about glutathione, first of all glutathione is not US FDA approved and there is no scientific proof that it works. Secondly there are many serious side effects of glutathione. Actually glutathione can temporarily change melanin type from dark to fair type but even during this temporary fairness you see, there can be serious side effects ( like skin cancer due to changed melanin type). So I will never recommend glutathione till there is any scientific proof for its safety and effectiveness.
Next Steps
You can definitely achieve glowing skin with basic skin care that involves proper cleaning, toning, moisturizing and sun protection.
Health Tips
Also you can do lot of other treatments like microdermabrasion, chemical peels and Laser for face glow. These treatments are definitely effective and if done by a qualified dermatologist there are no side effects. Hope I have answered your query in detail, still if you have any query you can ask on practo direct consult. Regards, Dr Jeetendra Khatuja  ( MUMBAI)
