When to take systolic pressure
Dear sir my general physician tells me that it is the first fast beating sound and not the very first beating sound to be considered as a systolic pressure.is it true.please help

It should be the first beating sound. Another way is the "Palpatory method", but usually not necessary unless the ptn is having very high bp.
