My 58 days old baby boy failed OAE twice. He had transient tachypnea during birth and was admitted in NICU. He recovered in couple of days and was discharged. We are bit worried as the OAE test failed twice . What are the chances for BERA to come normal? Can we take BERA now itself? Pediatric ENT advised to take after 3 months. But the parental trauma we are undergoing now is horrible.

No BERA is done at 3months in most clinics. It cannot be predicted about the results. But yes, it needs assessment if baby can turn head towards sounds.
