What to eat during gestational diabetes?

I am 29-years old and I’m in the second trimester of my pregnancy. This is my first one but unfortunately I’ve also been diagnosed with diabetes. It puts me and my child in danger. I feel extremely nauseous and crave for sugar it. I really need help in understanding what can I eat during gestational diabetes? I look forward to a gynecologist’s opinion and guidance.
