What is the chart for high blood pressure?
I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure. I am a 42-year old female who has no other ailments. To better manage my BP, I plan to check it myself on a daily basis. I’ve heard that there is a BP chart to know about one’s readings. I don’t know about it in detail so can anyone tell me what is the chart for high blood pressure?

The normal range of systolic BP is 100-130 and diastolic BP is 60-100. You should write down your BP reading regularly in a book or in a BP chart where you have to mark your blood pressure. These steps will help with dealing with your hypertension: - Eat a healthy and clean diet, avoid salty and deep fried food. - Have a DASH(Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension) Diet by eating fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, low-fat dairy products, lean meats, fish, and nuts, eliminating foods that are high in saturated fats, such as processed foods, full-fat dairy products, and fatty meats, it also helps to cut back on desserts and sweetened beverages, such as soda and fruit punch. - Exercise regularly, maintain a healthy weight as per your BMI(exercise 30-60 minutes per day) - Avoid or stop drinking and smoking as these habits will increase the blood pressure - Destress yourself with practices such as yoga, meditation If you develop persistent headache, kindly visit the ER at the earliest.
