What is dysplasia exactly and can it be clinically confirmed without biopsy? I have a condition that my dermatologist said its Oral lichen planus but said it looks normal and no need to worry, use kenacort when symptoms arise, i am following his advice but i have one worry that the pigmented area feels rough when licked like a dry wound or keratosis(if this is the correct word), by looking does this look like dysplasia? He had said no need of biopsy.
I am non smoker, m25 and no tobacco as well. I have similar pigmentation spreading on labial mucosa as well. Need more advice
