What causes red blotched on neck and chest

Anytime I get anxious/nervous, and even sometimes when I workout, I get these red blotches all over my chest and if it’s really bad, my arms. It’s really embarrassing and the only thing that ever seems to help is Benadryl, but I don’t want to have to take it all of the time. Is there anything I can take or do to fix this? What is it?
