What are wbc count high reasons
My mother is admitted in hospital. She had too high fever and recurrent infections. Basic fever medicine dint not lower her fever, so doctor advised to get her admitted. She is 58 years old. We did her blood test. Her haemoglobin is 10 and her WBC are very high. What could be reason for so high WBC count?

Her hemoglobin is low and she's anemic as per the reports. A high white blood cell count usually indicates the following: - An increased production of white blood cells to fight an infection - A reaction to a drug that increases white blood cell production - A disease of bone marrow, causing abnormally high production of white blood cells - An immune system disorder that increases white blood cell production
