What are the complications in polyhydramnios
Hello, I am a 28 year old married man. My wife is pregnant and we are expecting our first child soon. Recently the reports showed abnormal amniotic acid and she has been diagnosed with polyhydramnios. The doctor said it is treatable but I am not convinced if there is really no issue with the pregnancy. I want to know what are the complications in polyhydramnios.

How many weeks now she is having? If near term then no problem means 36- 37 weeks. If less than then chances of sudden rupture of membrane due to large volume of amniotic fluid and premature baby.
