What are symptoms of stds on females

My 33 year old wife has been diagnosed with STD a month back. What all are the symptoms of STDs in females for me to understand? Is this a transmissible problem? Can she think of conceiving with STD? Is there a permanent treatment option for this problem? Does it re-occur once treated?
