What are different calorific value of protein
I have seen many people who hit the gym constantly discussing about their diet, calorie content in the food they eat and how they are being asked to reduce the intake of carbs. I have also seen most of them carry protein shakes and other supplements for body building. What is the different calorific value of protein in drinks, foods and supplements? Why is it so in trend?

You can find the nutritional value of the contents on the cover of the protein powder and most food, as it varies from each brand to product it is difficult to give a calorific value on such large scale. So during gymming and for muscle building you require more of protein and comparitively less carbohydrates. The trend is mainly due to more people interested in body building and exercises.
