Weird spots around vagina entrance

Asked for Female, 18 Years

After swimming in chlorine water, there had been white circular spots around my vagina entrance. They hurt when I pee over them and sometimes it hurts to walk properly. It seems to me that my skin had broken open. My mother told me it was possible the chlorine water was contaminated and I reacted terribly to it. I hope this is the case and that you can help me.

Thanks for the query. Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
