Water in lungs
My mom is 56 years old. She took ultrasound scan in which the result was pleural effusion. Doctor told to take echo test. He told heart is normal. But there are water in lungs, stomach. He has given tablet for 3 days. What causes water in the organs? He told pumping of the heart will slow down if water nears heart. I am much concerned. What to do

Water accumulation, could be due to multiple reasons apart from heart Liver disease Kidney failure Anaemia Hypoprotenemia Hypothyroidism
