Was it COVID
I am suffering from GERD issues from last 3-4 months. Was taking allopathic medicines for almost 3.5 months. Consulted gastroenterologist for the same who advised for UGI endoscopy but scared to get it done. Thereafter as I couldn't get much relief so shifted to ayurvedic medicine. All was going good when on 6-7 Jul I had episodes of lose motion followed by feverish feeling though temperature was 96.5-98.2 F from 7-9 Jul. On 9 Jul feverish feeling had gone but by afternoon my smell and taste had also gone. Got my self examined at fever clinic but as the symptoms were not there so they had placed me in home isolation. Got my RT-PCR test on 13 & 22 Jul both turned out to be Not Detected. My smell sense is working 100% but taste buds are still not working. I am still in isolation. What should I do now. Can this be due to some ayurvedic medicines or was it COVID?

According to the tests and in light of them most probably the loss of taste may be due to ayurvedic medicines.

As COVID test was negative twice hence it is unlikely to be due to it. I can't comment about ayurvedic medicine.
