The time taken for your bone to unite will remain the same irrespective of your social obligations. It usually takes 6-8 weeks for any fracture to become relatively stable and not move. If u want to take the plaster out early, you would be better off wearing a air boot for the remaining period to immobilize your foot. Air casts or boots are removable boots that u could take off while bathing and sleeping but are to be kept on at other times. They will cost you from RS 5000-8000.
