Hello dear I can understand how you might be feeling. You feel sad and helpless of being rejected as well as disrespected by the person who you still have feelings for. You might be trying hard to get rid of him and his memories but not able to do so. And you are tired of being disrespected. You want to be loved and cherished back. But sometimes we can't make others do what we want and especially the ones whom you love. You don't need to feel helpless and sad. Contact a Counsellor or a Psychologist. You can also contact me and I will help you to get through this. No need to feel sad and left out. You are strong dear and you got this!

Hello dear Sorry to know that you are in this state and would tell you to be hopeful that you can come out of this with appropriate efforts . In a relationship often one person gets more dependent than the other . This makes this one person difficult to overcome specially whn the other is seen being able to move out comfortably. You seem to be thos one person right now. But remember thousands of people were dependent just like you ate right and they did overcome this phase so can you . Memories will interfere  and let them come don't run from them but also remember  these memories  are everyday going to reduce its effects and intensity  . consider them just like a memory of your experience  which gave you some learning and  strength. Also , I see  the value you put to yourself is pretty low otherwise whn he was cheating you repeatedly you would not accept him compromising on  your self respect . Reach out for Counseling  , here we have effective ways to raise your self esteem , treat your dependency. Goodluck
Next Steps
positive self affirmations,  counseling.

Thank you for your approach.First thing try to concentrate on your studies or profession. You may have insecure things that might be there from your childhood in your subconscious mind. You are matured and educated,so why should you take all this hurt.Focus on your target or aim to achieve. If you are hurting by others means you are giving chance to hurt.Be yourself.Self care is not selfish.
Next Steps
Consult a clinical psychologist for further assistance

Hi... Please understand this, the reason why you feel attracted towards this guy even after so much of abuse, adultery and disrespect is due to your own past, probably childhood. One or the other children of a disputed/dysfunctional family type is likely to develop a rescue mindset. They constantly find the need to take up projects where they are rescuing other people of their struggles/issues. You feel attached to this man because you feel his abuse, disrespect, anger is a sign of deep love which you might have found missing in your childhood. You need to come out of this subconscious struggle of your own, else you will keep pulling yourself towards such people. He might also be just using this to keep you attached and wanting him badly. This is a typical strategy men/women use to manipulate their partners into a self serving relationship.
Next Steps
Start taking Counselling Sessions from a Psychologist to build necessary strength, skills, and strategy to overcome this attachment style.
