Want to know whether infected typhoid
Hi, my son is having fever since 3 days. The doctor suggested for a viral test and told that he has a mild infection of typhoid and suggested medications cinarest cyrup and taxim of syrup. I am attaching the test report and prescription. I want to know whether he is infected with typhoid.

Blood culture is the test of choice for diagnosing typhoid in first week.
Widal should be done after one week only.
