Walking without support
I met with an accident 3 months back and was operated for multiple fractures in leg. Rod has been placed from knee to ankle and ankle part is fixed with wires and screws. Now I am on two crutches with full weight bearing on the operated leg. Approximately how long would it take for me to walk normally without support?

Hi, It depends on how the fracture is uniting/ united. The usual process is partial weight bearing to full weight bearing with crutches and then to a single crutch and then walking without support.
