Hi.
Was your child born at completion of 38 weeks o f pregnancy? Is his rest development normal according to your pediatrician or according to elders in house? Was there any problem soon after birth?
Child born at term needs to walk steady by 18 months +/- 2 months. If all questions above are negative, then  May be your child is more confident crawling. Nevertheless better to confirm fact with your pediatrician.

Hi there I understand your concern and anxiety...your baby needs medical examination, including a neurological exam and an assessment of your child's reflexes, posture, and muscle tone. The doctor will also take into account other developmental issues including language, fine motor, and social skills....consult nearest pediatrician for the same they will guide you further.
